Using Canrover is simple:

  1. Download the Canrover app on your smartphone.

  2. Find and unlock a nearby e-scooter or e-bike.

  3. Ride safely following local regulations and in-app guidelines.

  4. End your ride by parking responsibly and tapping “End Ride” in the app.

Canrover is launching in Winnipeg and expanding across Manitoba. We’re actively partnering with other cities, campuses, and private businesses across the province. If you’d like to see Canrover in your area, let your city know—or partner with us directly.

Riders must be at least 16 years old to use Canrover vehicles. Some cities may require additional local rules or helmet use depending on age. Please refer to in-app prompts and city-specific regulations before riding.

Businesses, property managers, or fleet operators can partner with Canrover by offering space for our vehicles, sponsoring stations, or even managing a local fleet. Visit our Partner With Us page to explore partnership options and submit an inquiry. We’ll tailor a solution that fits your goals and your community.

Partners enjoy a range of benefits including:

  • Increased foot traffic to your location

  • Enhanced sustainability efforts

  • Marketing visibility through co-branded vehicles or stations

  • A modern, tech-forward amenity for your customers or residents

  • Direct impact on reducing local emissions and traffic congestion

Absolutely. We work closely with campuses to provide students and staff with affordable, accessible transportation. Options include dedicated parking zones, student discounts, and campus-specific safety campaigns. It’s a great way to support greener, healthier commuting on and around campus.

Canrover offers a fully managed micromobility solution tailored to each city’s unique needs. We handle deployment, maintenance, and rider education while sharing detailed data to support urban planning and safety. As a Manitoban company, we prioritize local hiring, sustainability, and long-term partnerships with municipalities across the province.

Pricing varies by city and vehicle type. You’ll see the exact cost before you ride in the Canrover app. Typically, there’s a small unlock fee, followed by a per-minute rate. We aim to keep our service affordable while supporting safe and sustainable transportation across Manitoba.

You can securely pay through the Canrover app using a credit card, debit card, or other supported digital wallets. Simply add your preferred payment method under your account settings, and rides will be charged automatically after each trip.

Yes! We regularly offer promo codes, ride bundles, and special rates for students, seasonal riders, or local events. Follow us on social media and check the app’s Promotions section to stay updated on the latest offers.

Yes — through our Personal Rentals Program, you can rent an e-scooter or e-bike on a weekly or monthly basis. These rentals include delivery and pickup, and the vehicle will be reserved exclusively for you. It’s perfect for commuters or anyone needing a personal ride for a longer time.

Helmet rules vary by city. While not always legally required, we strongly encourage all riders to wear a helmet for safety. Some municipalities or age groups may require it by law, so please check local regulations or in-app guidelines before riding.

If you notice any issues before or during your ride, end your trip immediately and report the problem through the app. Just tap “Report Issue” and select the issue type. Our local team will be notified and fix or remove the vehicle from service as soon as possible.

We recommend not riding during snow, heavy rain, or icy conditions, as it may be unsafe. If the weather suddenly turns bad during a ride, please end your trip and park the vehicle safely. Canrover may temporarily pause service in poor conditions to protect rider safety.

Canrover scooters and bikes are designed for general use, but riders should feel physically comfortable and confident operating them. Each vehicle has a recommended height and weight range. We don’t currently offer adaptive vehicles, but we’re exploring inclusive options as we grow.

Each account is intended for individual use. However, with our Group Ride feature (available in some locations), one user can unlock multiple vehicles for friends or family members. All riders must meet safety requirements and follow local laws.

If you’re using a Personal Rental and the vehicle is lost or stolen, contact Canrover Support immediately through the app or website. You may be responsible for the replacement cost, so it’s important to report it right away. For shared rides, once you end your trip, you are no longer responsible for the vehicle.

Accidents happen — if you damage a vehicle, end your ride and report the issue through the app. Depending on the severity and circumstances, you may be charged for repairs. Our team will inspect the vehicle and handle it from there.

In the app, go to Settings > Help & Support > Report a Problem, or use the in-app chat if available. You can also email our support team directly. We’re always working to improve your experience, and your feedback helps us fix bugs fast.

Vehicle availability can vary based on time, location, and demand. If there are no vehicles nearby, try refreshing the map or checking again later. For regular use, consider our Personal Rental Program to guarantee a vehicle is always yours.

If you notice a Canrover parked improperly or in an unauthorized area, you can report it through the app or contact our support team. We appreciate community help in keeping sidewalks clear and vehicles safely parked — our team will retrieve or reposition it promptly.

No — Canrover vehicles are geofenced and will slow down or stop if taken outside the designated riding zones. You can view service areas in the app map. Always stay within the highlighted zones to ensure a smooth ride and proper parking options.

Not without written approval. Shared vehicles are for personal use only. For delivery or business use, check out our Personal Rentals Program or contact us to discuss commercial fleet partnerships.

We’d love to hear from you! You can share feedback directly in the app under Help & Support > Feedback, or email us anytime. As a local Manitoban company, community input plays a big role in how we grow and improve
