Helmet rules vary by city. While not always legally required, we strongly encourage all riders to wear a helmet for safety. Some municipalities or age groups may require it by law, so please check local regulations or in-app guidelines before riding.

If you notice any issues before or during your ride, end your trip immediately and report the problem through the app. Just tap “Report Issue” and select the issue type. Our local team will be notified and fix or remove the vehicle from service as soon as possible.

We recommend not riding during snow, heavy rain, or icy conditions, as it may be unsafe. If the weather suddenly turns bad during a ride, please end your trip and park the vehicle safely. Canrover may temporarily pause service in poor conditions to protect rider safety.

Canrover vehicles are designed for general use, but riders should feel physically comfortable and confident operating them. Each vehicle has a recommended height and weight range. We don’t currently offer adaptive vehicles, but we’re exploring inclusive options as we grow.

You may be responsible for the replacement cost, so it’s important to report it right away. For shared rides, once you end your trip, you are no longer responsible for the vehicle.
